Abhishek Jain, MD is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine; Program Director of the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic (WPIC); Medical Director of Forensic Psychiatry Services at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC); and Medical Director of Psychiatric Services at UPMC East. He is board-certified in Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, and Psychosomatic Medicine. Dr. Jain earned his medical degree through the combined BS/MD program at Kent State University and Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM). He completed a General Adult Psychiatry Residency through WPIC/UPMC, a Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship through Case Western Reserve University, and a Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship through the Cleveland Clinic. He has published peer-reviewed journal articles, professional newsletter articles, and book chapters, and has presented locally and nationally, on topics at the interface of psychiatry, medicine, and the law.
