Matthew Kruse, MD received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Carleton College. After two years of genetics research at the National Institutes of Health, he completed medical school at Yale University. He completed his psychiatry residency and forensic fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Since then, he has been employed at the Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center, a state hospital just outside of Minneapolis, where he is currently the Director of Psychiatry and Directof of Psychiatric Education. Professional interests include early-episode psychosis, healthcare policy, and systems of healthcare delivery.
