James Reynolds, MD

Dr. Reynolds earned the M.D. degree from the University of Tennessee in 1986. After a tour of duty as a general medical officer and flight surgeon with the U.S. Air Force, he trained in Psychiatry at Wright State University and in Forensic Psychiatry at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He is Board Certified in General and Forensic Psychiatry. He serves as the Medical Director of the Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center in St. Joseph, Missouri,  and is Chair of the Forensic Review Committee for the Department of Mental Health for the western half of the State of Missouri. He holds clinical faculty appointments with four nearby medical schools and the Uniformed Services Medical School in Bethesda, Maryland. He has been an active member of AAPL since 1992 and served as President of the Midwest Chapter of AAPL in 2013/2014.
