Dr. Delaney Smith, ADAMH Medical Director
Dr. Smith earned her medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2002 where she continued on to complete her psychiatric training, followed by a fellowship in forensic psychiatry from Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Delaney Smith joined the ADAMH Board of Franklin County in August 2013 as the system chief clinical officer and continues to provide patient care to individuals with mental illness who are involved in the legal system as a psychiatrist at Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare – Mortiz Maximum Security Unit .
She is also an auxiliary assistant professor of psychiatry at the Ohio State University Medical Center Department of Psychiatry where she is program director of the forensic psychiatry fellowship and the OSU Moritz College of Law where she teaches Legal Mental Health.
She is published in various publications including: Encyclopedia of Forensic Sciences; The Encyclopedia of Immigrant Health and The Journal of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law and presented at many local and national conferences.
